BCAA is the smaller, cheaper option and is popular mixed as a drink to sip during training. EAA contains the same three BCAAs plus the other six essential aminos, giving a broader profile for only a small price difference. Powder is the standard format because it dissolves easily in a shaker bottle; check the label for grams of amino acids per serving, since this varies between brands. Single amino acids are also sold separately for anyone who wants to dose one ingredient rather than a blend.
