WPC typically contains around 80% protein along with some fat and lactose. WPI goes through additional filtering, reaching over 90% protein with very little lactose or fat left, which is why it costs a bit more per kilo than WPC. Hydrolysate is pre-broken-down for even faster mixing and absorption. Larger tubs (1 kg+) bring the price per serving down but are worth it only once you're sure of your preferred flavour.
Whey protein is commonly mixed with water or milk and consumed after training or at any point in the day when adding protein to a meal.
